Next Generation of Health Care

Digital health movement started with digitalization and sharing of patients' records in point-of-care (POC) facilities among healthcare providers and then moved into social media-based patient-to-patient (hP2P) care and experience sharing.  The digital information sharing facilitates such care models as patient-centered medical home (PCMH) and community care team (CCT), focusing mostly on the individuals suffering from chronic conditions with the goal of better care coordination, patient engagement and reduction in hospital visits and costs.

Even though PCMH and CCT-based care may require significant resources for IT and other upgrades, which many healthcare providers may not have, they in their current concepts and forms do not significantly alter the efficiency and efficacy of care provided. Currently prevalent health care models still have been largely revolving around the costly, inefficient, time-consuming and many-times-too-late-for-patient POC facilities and disease-centric care approaches.

Next generation of health care is destined to trend toward being preventative, personalized and precise, which requires fundamental innovations in care and management solutions and grand changes to the POC-centric, disease-centric, and one-size-fits-all healthcare model. IngHouses first proposed the "POR" health care concept and has developed a handful of strategic technologies and methodologies. They shall help to prevent disease development across populations with real results and in conjunction with POC interventions effectively aid in diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases with inexpensive, personalized, precise solutions for patients at POR. These solutions not only have the potentials to revolutionize the health care and living for individuals and families, but also provide enormous opportunities for next generation of healthcare provider, pharmaceutical, therapeutics, insurance and real estate industries.

NextGen Living in Sustainable Environment

Existing consumer-based economy is centered around numerous, seemly never ending cycles of design, production and consumption, with no or extremely inadequate regard for their consequences. Each cycle expends massive amount of non-renewable resources, some taking millions of years to evolve, generates certain amount of essentially permanent wastes and pollution in air, land, soils, forests, rivers, lakes, oceans, farms, cities and streets, and creates damages to our internal planet as well.  Inevitably they not only contaminate, destroy our air, water, food sources and homes directly but also decimate animal  populations and render irreversible change to the climate, environment and ecosystem, thereby unleashing unprecedented droughts, wildfires, storms, hurricanes, floods, melting glaciers, rising sea, landslides, sink holes, volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis, etc. Together the disasters spread wastes and pollution, endanger plant and animal species, decimate more natural resources, and, more direly, further devastate the ecosystem and diminish the nature's ability to renew. Thus incessantly continuing is the positive feedback cycle of calamitous destructions, self-inflicted mostly by us all, threatening to end the humanity's capacity to continue to produce, consume and survive.

The ever growing shortage in natural resources, ever increasing environmental wastes and pollution, and the Earth and climate change are presenting ever increasing health challenges to both the ever growing world's population and the only planet we live in. Decades of global green drives with focus on green energy and recycling are both lagging and proving to be highly deficient to reverse the looming calamity in time. Humanity is at a cross road again, this time with devastating crises more urgent, widespread than ever before.

As an example, mobile industries of the world have been banking on nearly annual releases of "new" phones, driven primarily by shareholders and competitions. In 2019 over 1.589 billion sets were sold.  The cycles of yearly minuscule product iterations of "new" phones benefit a little, if at all, the society and a majority of consumers, which in recent years have been centered on, with one possible exception, nothing more than the number and quality of cameras, in addition to tweaking screen sizes, GPU speeds, and limited upgrades in soft utilities by Apple, Samsung and the alike. They have been not only generating enormous, ever growing amount of wastes in resources, environmental pollutions, but also adding to eco-destructions in device manufacturing, distribution and use processes. According to EPA, about 151 million used phones are discarded EVERY year in the U.S. alone, with less than 20% of them recycled.

To break the cycle of self-destructions, fundamental innovations and changes are required in all phases of design, production and consumption cycles and our way of life. IngHouses was founded on the grand vision of such a movement, not just on our novel inventions with disruptive potentials in NextGen living. To start, we propose indices of multi-faceted costs over benefits established and adopted by different industries. These indices need to be evaluated and monitored for full impact of every product by an non-profit, non-government organization in each industry BEFORE committing resources in all phases of design, production and consumption.

Humanity shall never be truly safe and healthy until our environment and planet are...
